Dermal Fillers in Portland, Shaped Around Your Features
Most people searching "dermal fillers near me" aren't chasing a dramatic new face — they want their own face, rested and balanced. Cosmetiq Medicine is med spa serving Portland, Oregon, where filler starts with an honest facial assessment: what's lost volume, what's simply moved, and what should be left exactly as it is.
Assessment Before Product
Cheeks, lips, chin, jawline, under-eyes — where filler goes matters more than how much. Your injector studies your proportions and facial movement first, then recommends a plan. Sometimes that plan is one syringe. Sometimes it's "not yet."
Allergan Diamond Provider
Cosmetiq Medicine holds Diamond status with Allergan, the maker of Juvéderm — a tier reserved for practices with high treatment volume and consistent outcomes. For Portland patients comparing injectors, it's a simple signal: this team places filler every day, not occasionally.

Where Filler Does Its Quietest, Best Work
Dermal fillers restore volume, smooth deep lines, and refine contours — but each area of the face asks for a different gel, depth, and dose. These are the areas Portland patients treat most at Cosmetiq Medicine, each planned around your anatomy.
Lips & Lip Borders
Portland's most-requested filler, and the easiest to overdo. We shape lip filler around your natural border and proportions — soft volume, defined edges, smoothed vertical lines — including subtle support for aging lips that have thinned over time.
Most requested in PortlandCheeks & Midface
When cheeks flatten, everything below them drifts — smile lines deepen and the lower face looks heavier. Restoring midface volume lifts subtly from above, which is why cheek filler is often the smartest first step in a facial balancing plan.
The foundation areaChin & Jawline
A recessed chin or soft jawline changes your whole profile. Structured filler adds projection and a cleaner line from ear to chin — one of the most satisfying refinements for both women and men, and a core tool in profile balancing.
Profile & definitionSmile & Marionette Lines
The folds that run from nose to mouth, and the lines that pull the corners down. Softening them — sometimes directly, sometimes by restoring the cheek above — takes the tired, drawn look out of the lower face without stiffening your smile.
Softer, not frozenUnder-Eye / Tear Trough
Hollows that read as permanent tiredness. This is advanced-assessment territory: thin skin, unforgiving anatomy, and not every hollow is a filler problem. When you're a good candidate, conservative correction here is transformative — and when you're not, we'll say so.
Candidacy assessed honestly
Nose Refinement — Nonsurgical Rhinoplasty
Small amounts of filler, placed precisely, can smooth a dorsal bump, lift a drooping tip, or even out asymmetry — in minutes, without surgery. If you've been searching for nose filler or a liquid nose job in Portland, nonsurgical rhinoplasty is one of the most precise treatments we offer, and one where injector experience matters most. Candidacy and limits are reviewed honestly at consultation.

Five Juvéderm Fillers, Five Different Jobs
The short answer
Juvéderm isn't one product — it's a family of hyaluronic acid gels, each built with a different thickness, flexibility, and degree of lift. Broadly: Ultra XC is the classic lip filler, Ultra Plus XC is its more robust sibling for deeper folds and fuller volume, Voluma XC is the structural gel for cheeks, chin, and jawline, Vollure XC is made for smile lines that need to move naturally, and Volbella XC is the softest — for subtle lips, fine lines, and select under-eye candidates. Which one belongs in your plan is an anatomy question, not a marketing one — which is exactly what a consultation at our Portland clinic settles.
Lips · The Classic
Juvéderm Ultra XC
The lip filler most people picture
- Best fit: lips and the fine lines around the mouth — plush, even, natural-looking fullness
- We reach for it when you want your lips noticeably — but believably — enhanced in a single visit
- May not suit whisper-subtle first-timers (see Volbella) or areas that need deep structural lift
Lips & Folds · Robust
Juvéderm Ultra Plus XC
Ultra's stronger sibling
- Best fit: deeper smile-line folds and lips that need fuller, longer-wearing volume
- We reach for it when the tissue needs more support than Ultra XC comfortably gives
- May not suit fine-detail work or patients easing into filler for the first time
Cheeks · Chin · Jawline
Juvéderm Voluma XC
The structural one
- Best fit: flattened cheeks, midface lift, chin projection, and jawline definition
- We reach for it when the face needs rebuilt foundation — the lift that makes everything else make sense
- May not suit lips or delicate surface lines — it's engineered for depth, not detail
Smile Lines · Flexible
Juvéderm Vollure XC
Made for lines that move
- Best fit: nasolabial folds and marionette lines in the most expressive part of the face
- We reach for it when a fold needs softening that still flexes naturally every time you smile or speak
- May not suit jobs that call for firm projection — that's Voluma territory
Lips & Fine Detail · Soft
Juvéderm Volbella XC
The subtle one
- Best fit: soft lip refinement, vertical lip lines, and under-eye hollows in well-screened candidates
- We reach for it when the goal is definition and polish — "did something change?" rather than "you got filler"
- May not suit patients wanting dramatic volume — softness is the point, not the limitation
Consultation note
Product names matter less than the plan. Your injector may combine gels — Voluma for the cheeks, Volbella for the lips — or recommend Sculptra or Radiesse when a collagen stimulator fits your goals better. How long each gel wears varies by product, area, and your own metabolism — typically measured in months, and set as an honest expectation at your visit, not a promise on a webpage. *Under-eye treatment is offered only after careful candidacy screening.
So which Juvéderm is yours?
Honestly — don't decide from a webpage. The right gel depends on your anatomy, your tissue, and the result you're after. Cosmetiq Medicine keeps all five Juvéderm fillers in the fridge and places them daily, so the recommendation you get in Portland is based on your face — not on what's in stock.
Before & After · Portland Filler Results
Results That Read as Rested, Not Done
What should dermal filler before-and-after photos actually show? Not a different face — the same face, carrying itself better. Below: two Portland patients, four angles, and the natural-enhancement philosophy behind every plan we build, from lip filler to full facial balancing, for patients across Portland, Beaverton, and the metro.
Profile Refinement, Side & Three-Quarter View
Profile photos are the honest ones — there's nowhere for heaviness or hollowing to hide. Here, restored midface support and cleaner lower-face structure change how the whole profile carries light, without changing who's in the photo.
How to read it
Trace the line from ear to chin, then watch where the cheek catches light. Natural work shows up as balance and continuity — not as any one obvious spot.
Full Facial Balancing, Portland Patient
Facial balancing treats proportion, not spots — small, deliberate amounts across several areas rather than a lot in one. It's why balanced results photograph so quietly: nothing announces itself, everything simply agrees.
How to read it
Don't hunt for a single change. Compare the overall proportions — how the features sit relative to each other — and notice the face looks less tired before it looks "treated."
Individual results vary. Every photo set above is a plan built by expert injectors for that patient's anatomy — yours starts at a consultation, not a template.

Our treatment match tool points you toward your best-fit treatment in about a minute — and the current Portland med spa specials are worth a look before you book anything. Choosing Well · Portland
Which Dermal Filler Is Right for You? Match the Gel to the Goal
"Which filler is best?" is the wrong question — the right one is "best for what, in whose face?" The honest framework we use at Cosmetiq Medicine: start with what you're noticing, and let anatomy pick the product.
If you notice…
Lips that feel thinner, flatter, or undefined
Less fullness than you used to have, a blurred lip border, lipstick feathering into vertical lines — the most common filler request in Portland.
The likely direction
Ultra XC for plush volume, Volbella XC for subtle definition — your consult decides which.
If you notice…
Flattened cheeks or a tired-looking midface
The lifted fullness of the upper cheek has drifted, shadows sit under the eyes, and photos read "exhausted" even after a good night's sleep.
The likely direction
Structural cheek filler
Voluma-class support that lifts from above — often the first move in facial balancing.
If you notice…
Folds framing the mouth that deepen every year
Smile lines and marionette lines that stay visible at rest — in the most expressive zone of the face, where stiffness would show instantly.
The likely direction
Flexible fold correction
Vollure-class gels made to move with expression — sometimes paired with cheek support first.
If you notice…
Gradual, whole-face volume loss
Not one spot — everything a little deflated: temples, cheeks, jawline. A syringe-here-syringe-there approach can chase it forever without fixing it.
If you notice…
Skin that's lost glow — not volume
Crepey texture, dullness, fine dryness lines on the cheeks. If the shape of your face is fine, adding volume is the wrong answer.
The likely direction
Micro-droplet HA for skin quality and hydration — smoothness, not size.
Weighed at every consultation
- Your facial anatomy
- Skin & tissue quality
- How your face moves
- Prior filler history
- Your actual goal
Old filler matters more than most people expect — existing product can change what's safe and what's possible, so bring your treatment history (even from another clinic) to your consult.
Still not sure? Let the Treatment Match Tool sort it out.
Answer a few quick questions — or upload a photo — and our free planner suggests whether filler, Botox, skin treatments, or a combination best fits your goals. It takes about two minutes, and you'll walk into your Portland consultation already speaking the same language as your injector.
Combination plans are common — many Portland patients pair filler with Botox or Dysport, since one restores volume and the other softens movement lines. Whatever the mix, candidacy is always confirmed in person before anything is booked as treatment.

The Best Filler in Portland Is the Kind No One Notices
Everyone searching for the best filler injector near me is really asking the same question: will I still look like myself? It's the right fear. Overfilled faces don't happen because filler is bad — they happen when product is added without a plan, syringe after syringe, until proportion is gone.
Facial balancing flips that approach. Before anything is injected at our Portland clinic, your injector maps how your features relate — the ratio of lips to chin, how your cheeks support your under-eyes, where your profile line actually sits. Filler is then placed to restore relationships, not to inflate isolated spots. Often the area you're worried about isn't the area that needs treating.
And when a plan is bigger than one visit, we say so. Phasing treatment over months — cheeks first, then lips, then reassess — costs you nothing in results and protects you from the one outcome we refuse to produce: a face that announces its filler. Meet the team behind that standard, or judge it directly in our before & after gallery.
How We Keep It Natural
Proportion Before Product
The plan starts with your facial thirds and profile line — not with a syringe count. What gets treated is whatever restores balance, which isn't always what you came in pointing at.
Movement Is Part of the Plan
Your face is judged in motion — smiling, talking, animating — not just at rest in a mirror. Gel choice and placement are made so expression stays yours.
Conservative First Passes
You can always add filler; subtracting it is harder. We'd rather have you back for a planned touch-up than send you out overdone on day one.
Phased When It Serves You
Structural areas settle before detail areas are refined. Bigger balancing plans unfold over a few visits — deliberately, and with your budget in the conversation.
Curious what other Portland patients say? Read our patient reviews — the phrase that comes up most is "still looks like me."
The Visit · The Honest Part
What Filler Treatment Is Actually Like — Swelling, Settling & All
Dermal filler is a medical aesthetic procedure, and you deserve the unedited version: how the visit runs, what's normal afterward, and the rare things we watch for. Here it is, the way we'd explain it in the treatment room.
How the Visit Runs
Consultation & Facial Mapping
Medical history, medications, prior filler — reviewed before anything else. Your injector maps your anatomy and watches your face move. If filler isn't the right answer for your goal, you'll hear that plainly, with alternatives.
Your Plan & Your Quote
Which gel, which areas, how many syringes, and the exact cost — agreed before anything is opened. You approve the full plan first, so the receipt never surprises you.
Treatment, With Comfort Built In
Topical numbing plus lidocaine mixed into every Juvéderm gel keeps discomfort low — most patients rate it easier than expected. Your injector chooses needle or cannula per area, a judgment call that affects both comfort and safety.
Aftercare & the Two-Week Mark
You leave with simple instructions and a direct line to the clinic. Early swelling can make results look "more" than final — judge nothing before two weeks, when the gel has settled and any touch-up is planned.
Aftercare, kept simple
- Skip strenuous exercise 24–48 hrs
- Sleep slightly elevated, night one
- Don't press or massage treated areas
- Hold facials & dental work ~2 weeks
Your written instructions may adjust these for your specific treatment areas — follow the version we send you home with, or grab the full guide below.

Filler Pricing Without the Mystery — and Smart Ways to Plan It
Dermal filler is priced per syringe, and your total depends on the plan — which areas, which gel, and how many syringes. You’ll approve the exact number before treatment begins. What you’re really paying for: dosing judgment, authentic product, and a plan that still looks like you.
Per-Syringe Pricing
Dermal Filler Pricing
Current syringe pricing for Juvéderm, Sculptra, Radiesse, and SkinVive — published, not hidden behind a phone call.
Rotating Offers
Current Specials
Rotating filler and injectable offers for Portland patients — same product, same injectors, better math.
Ongoing Value
Memberships & Payments
For maintenance patients, memberships usually beat chasing promos — and payment plans plus Allē rewards and Cherry stack on top.
A word about bargain filler
With injectables, the cheapest syringe is rarely the smartest buy — an inexpensive syringe in the wrong plane, or the wrong product entirely, costs more to correct than it ever saved. Compare credentials and consultation quality first, then price. Value and safety can absolutely coexist; that’s exactly what specials and memberships are for.

How do I know which dermal filler is right for me?
You don't have to — that's your injector's job. The right filler depends on the area being treated, your anatomy, your tissue, and how dramatic or subtle you want the change to be. Broadly: structural gels like Voluma for cheeks and jawline, flexible gels like Vollure for smile lines, softer gels like Ultra or Volbella for lips. At Cosmetiq Medicine in Portland the product is chosen at your consultation, after your face has been assessed — you can get a head start with our free Treatment Match Tool.
What areas can dermal filler treat?
The most common areas at our Portland clinic: lips, cheeks and midface, chin and jawline, smile lines and marionette lines, temples, under-eye hollows in screened candidates, and nonsurgical nose refinement. Filler can also be used across several areas at once in a facial balancing plan — often the most natural-looking way to use it, because it restores proportion instead of inflating one spot.
What's the difference between Juvéderm Ultra, Ultra Plus, Voluma, Vollure, and Volbella?
They're all hyaluronic acid gels, built to different thicknesses for different jobs. Ultra XC is the classic lip filler; Ultra Plus XC is thicker, for deeper folds and fuller volume; Voluma XC is the most structural — cheeks, chin, and jawline; Vollure XC is flexible, designed for smile lines that need to move naturally; Volbella XC is the softest, for subtle lips, vertical lip lines, and select under-eye treatment. The full comparison is on this page above, and the final call is always an anatomy decision made at your consult.
How much filler will I need?
Most single areas start with one syringe — lips are commonly a full or half syringe, cheeks often one to two, chin and jawline sometimes more depending on the structure being built. Larger balancing plans may use several syringes phased over multiple visits, on purpose. You'll approve the exact syringe count and total cost before treatment starts, and current per-syringe pricing is on our treatment pricing page. Starting conservative is always an option — you can add later; subtracting is harder.
How long does swelling last after filler?
Swelling usually peaks in the first 24–48 hours and eases substantially within a few days to a week. Lips swell the most — it's normal for them to look "extra" for a day or two, and that is not your final result. The gel fully settles around the two-week mark, which is when results should be judged and any fine-tuning is planned. Bruising, when it happens, typically fades within about a week and covers with makeup after the first day.
Can filler look natural?
Yes — natural is the default when filler is dosed and placed well. Overfilled faces come from too much product, the wrong product, or treating one spot in isolation until proportion is lost. Our approach in Portland is facial balancing: conservative amounts, placed where they restore your proportions, judged with your face in motion. The results we aim for read as "rested" and "well" — see for yourself in our before & after gallery.
What causes filler migration?
Migration — filler drifting outside the area where it was placed, most visibly at the lip border — usually traces back to over-volume, too-frequent touch-ups, product placed in the wrong plane, or a gel that was wrong for the area. It is rarely random. Careful product selection, conservative pacing, and correct placement make it uncommon; and because Juvéderm fillers are hyaluronic acid, migrated or lumpy filler can be dissolved with hyaluronidase and the area rebuilt correctly.
Can old filler affect my new treatment plan?
Yes, meaningfully. Existing filler — even from years ago, even from another clinic — changes how new product sits, what's safe to inject, and sometimes what result is possible. Tell your injector everything you remember: product names, areas, rough dates. In some cases the honest first step is dissolving old product before building again. It's a routine conversation at our Portland consults, never a judgment.
Is dermal filler different from Botox?
Completely different tools. Botox and Dysport are neuromodulators — they relax the muscles that create movement lines like frown lines and crow's feet. Filler restores volume and structure — cheeks, lips, folds, contours. A simple rule: lines that appear when you move point to Botox; hollowness or lost shape at rest points to filler. Many Portland patients use both, since they solve different problems — and we offer both under one roof.
How do I book dermal fillers in Portland?
Three easy ways: book online in about two minutes, call us at (503) 572-2675, or send a question first if you'd rather talk it through. Not sure what to book? Choose a consultation — your injector will map a plan, quote it exactly, and treatment can often happen the same visit if you're ready.
