Meet the Care Team

The Medical Spa Behind Your Results

Cosmetiq Medicine is a medical spa with two clinics: one in Portland, Oregon and one in Vancouver, Washington. Expert injectors and a board-certified clinical team perform cosmetic injectables, facial rejuvenation, and energy-based skin treatments for patients across the Portland metro and Southwest Washington.

01

Who performs your treatment

Expert injectors perform every injectable treatment at Cosmetiq Medicine, supported by a board-certified clinical team. Injectors train on facial anatomy, product selection, and dosing so Botox and Dysport results read as rested rather than frozen.

Patients comparing aesthetic injectors near Portland or Vancouver can review credentials, technique, and past work before booking a single unit.

02

Portland, OR

What the Portland clinic treats

The Portland clinic on SE Stark Street focuses on cosmetic injectables and non-laser facial treatments. Available treatments include Botox and Dysport, dermal fillers, lip filler, Sculptra, Radiesse, Kybella, PDO threads, facial infusions, chemical peels, and GLP-1 weight loss support.

03

Vancouver, WA

What the Vancouver clinic treats

The Vancouver clinic on SE Mill Plain Boulevard adds laser and energy-based treatments to the full injectable menu. Vancouver patients can book XERF skin tightening, Potenza RF microneedling, and laser hair removal alongside every injectable offered in Portland.

04

What a first visit looks like

A first visit at Cosmetiq Medicine starts with a consultation rather than a pre-written treatment plan. The injector assesses facial proportion, reviews medical history, and quotes exact treatment pricing before anything is injected.

Most consultations end with treatment the same business day, and no patient is asked to commit to a package to be seen.

Standards of Care

What Makes a Portland Med Spa Worth Choosing

Most people comparing med spas in Portland or Vancouver are looking at the same five or six clinics and cannot tell them apart. These are the things that actually separate them, and how Cosmetiq Medicine handles each one.

The Comparison

What to compare before you book anywhere

Four questions sort most med spas quickly: who physically performs the injection, whether a full price is quoted before treatment starts, whether the clinic corrects its own work, and whether it can show real patient results rather than stock photography.

A clinic that answers all four without hesitation is usually the safer booking, regardless of what its ads promise. Cosmetiq Medicine answers all four below.

The Category

What a medical spa actually is

A medical spa is a clinic where aesthetic treatments are delivered in a clinical setting rather than a salon one. Injectables, prescription products, and energy-based devices sit under medical oversight, which is what separates aesthetic medicine from a facial at a day spa.

At Cosmetiq Medicine that means expert injectors and a licensed clinical team running every treatment on the menu, at both clinics.

The Number

How pricing gets quoted

Transparent pricing means the full cost is on the table before anything is injected. Botox and Dysport are quoted per unit, filler is quoted per syringe, and the number given at consultation is the number charged at checkout.

Patients treating more than one area can compare current offers or a membership against single-visit pricing before deciding.

The Correction

What happens when a result needs adjusting

Filler settles unevenly, spreads past its intended border, or simply reads heavier than a patient wanted. A clinic worth booking will assess that honestly instead of telling a patient to wait it out.

Cosmetiq Medicine reviews migrated lip filler in person, distinguishes swelling from true migration, and discusses dissolving when it is the right call, including on filler placed elsewhere.

The Evidence

How results get documented

Consistent lighting and angle are the only way a before and after photo means anything. Patients can review actual Cosmetiq Medicine outcomes in the before and after gallery rather than relying on manufacturer imagery.

The photo treatment planner lets prospective patients map likely treatment areas from their own photo before a consultation is booked.

The Map

Where patients travel from

Injectables, facial infusions, and chemical peels are booked at both clinics. Laser and energy-based treatments, including XERF, RF microneedling, and laser hair removal, are performed at the Vancouver, WA clinic only.

Portland MetroPortland, Gresham, Beaverton, Tigard, Hillsboro, Happy Valley, Lake Oswego, Milwaukie, Clackamas

Southwest WashingtonVancouver, Camas, Washougal, Battle Ground, Ridgefield, Salmon Creek

A consultation should end with a plan and a price, not a deposit on a package you have not seen results from. That is the standard at both clinics.

Who Treats You

The Injectors and Skin Specialists You Will Actually Meet

Cosmetiq Medicine runs a small team on purpose. The person who assesses your face at consultation is the person who treats you, at the Portland, Oregon clinic and at the Vancouver, Washington clinic. Below is who does what, what each of them is known for, and which clinic to book for each concern.

Arwa Salti

Lead Aesthetic Injector

Salti's work in aesthetics began in 1995, in hospital-based practice overseas and under the mentorship of a leading plastic surgeon. Three decades of studying facial anatomy sits behind every syringe she picks up, and it shows most in the treatments where restraint matters more than volume.

She is the injector Portland and Vancouver patients ask for when they want Botox and Dysport dosed to soften expression rather than erase it, and she treats masseter and jawline contouring as a proportion problem rather than a product one. Facial balancing plans are mapped across the whole face before a single area is treated.

FocusBotox and Dysport dosing, masseter and jawline contouring, lip filler and facial balancing, Sculptra and collagen biostimulators, under-eye and midface volume.

Tabi

Advanced Laser and Facial Aesthetician

Tabi handles the device side of the practice. Patients travelling from Portland for radiofrequency skin tightening, Potenza RF microneedling, XERF, and erbium resurfacing see her at the Vancouver, Washington clinic, where all laser and energy-based treatments are performed.

Her work is corrective before it is cosmetic. Acne scarring, melasma, sun damage, uneven texture, and early laxity get a staged plan rather than a single session, and she frequently layers energy-based treatment with corrective facials to work on more than one concern per visit.

Master Laser Aesthetician

A 2018 graduate of the Aveda Institute, Sheeti has worked the Portland market for more than six years. She starts every plan with an honest read of the skin in front of her: current condition, what has already been tried, and how much downtime a patient can realistically absorb.

That produces plans people finish. Chemical peels and microneedling are her core tools for tone, texture, and clarity at both clinics, with laser-based work scheduled at Vancouver. She is also the specialist most often paired with an injectable plan, since skin quality is what makes filler read well.

Megan

Office Manager and Licensed Esthetician

Megan is usually the first voice a patient hears and the last person they see on the way out. She came to aesthetics through dental assisting, which is where the precision and the calm chairside manner come from, and she now runs scheduling, treatment coordination, and follow-up across both clinics.

She also treats. Customized facials, dermaplaning, and lash work fill her book, and she is often the one who keeps results holding between injectable or laser appointments.

Your First Visit

Booking a First Appointment in Portland or Vancouver

Most people booking Botox, filler, or a first skin treatment are not nervous about the treatment. They are nervous about not knowing what happens next. Here is the whole sequence, from the moment you book to the day you come back.

Booking

How to book, and how soon you can be seen

Appointments at both clinics are booked online or by phone at (503) 572-2675. Choose the treatment you are most interested in, add your goals in the notes, and the front desk will move you to a different appointment type if the notes point somewhere else. Nobody is charged for being booked into the wrong slot.

Consultation and treatment usually happen in the same visit, so most patients are treated the same business day rather than being sent home to rebook. Injectables, peels, and facials run at both clinics. Anything laser or energy-based is booked at Vancouver, Washington.

  • Portland, OR: Book online for injectables, peels, facials, and skin planning.
  • Vancouver, WA: Book online for everything above plus all laser and energy-based work.
Consultation

What the consultation covers before anything is injected

Your injector looks at the face at rest and in movement, asks what bothers you and what you want left alone, and reviews anything in your history that changes the plan. Treatment areas get mapped before a product is chosen, not after.

Then you get a number. Neuromodulator is quoted by unit count, filler by syringe, and skin treatments by session or series. That figure is stated out loud before treatment starts, and it is the figure you pay. Current treatment pricing is published so you can walk in with a rough budget already in mind.

The Decision

Botox or Dysport, and how that gets decided

This is the question first-time patients ask most. Both are neuromodulators that soften the muscle movement creating a line, and both are well established. They behave slightly differently in practice, which is why the choice is made per area rather than picked once and applied everywhere.

Your injector will explain how each one tends to behave in the specific area being treated, what that means for onset and for how the result reads, and which one suits the way your face moves. If you want to read up first, the Botox versus Dysport comparison covers the differences in detail, and Botox pricing and results in Portland covers what units actually buy.

Before You Come In

What to do in the days before your appointment

None of this is complicated, and none of it is a reason to cancel if you forget. It mostly reduces the odds of bruising and makes the result easier to read on the day.

  • Timing: leave two weeks between injectables and a wedding, shoot, or holiday.
  • Alcohol: skip it the night before, since it thins blood and raises bruising risk.
  • Supplements: tell us what you take, but never stop a prescribed medication without asking whoever manages it.
  • Skin: arrive with a clean face for peels, facials, and any laser appointment.
  • Photos: bring reference images if you have them, including ones showing what you do not want.
  • Time: allow longer than the booked slot for a first visit, since consultation runs before treatment.
The First Two Weeks

What the first two weeks actually look like

Neuromodulator does not switch on at the door. It softens gradually over the days after treatment and reaches its settled result well before the two week mark, which is why nobody should judge a Botox or Dysport result on day two. How long results hold depends on the area, the dose, and how strongly you use those muscles.

Filler behaves the opposite way. It looks fullest in the first few days while swelling is present, then settles into its real shape. That gap is why so many people panic early, and why the two week follow-up exists. Adjustments, if any are needed, happen at that visit rather than in the first week.

Aftercare

Aftercare, and when to come back

You leave with written aftercare specific to what was treated. The general shape of it: stay upright for the rest of the day, skip the workout and the sauna until tomorrow, and keep pressure off treated areas. That last one matters most after lip treatment, where pressure and habit are what move filler out of place.

Return timing is set at your two week check rather than guessed at booking, because it depends on the area treated and how quickly you metabolise the product. Patients treating more than one area on a regular schedule usually compare membership pricing against paying per visit at that point.

If you are not sure what to book, book the consultation and let the assessment decide. Nothing is committed to until you have the plan and the price.

Common Questions

Questions Patients Ask Before They Book

Answers to the questions that come up most often at both clinics, written plainly. Anything specific to your face, your history, or your budget gets answered properly at consultation.

What is a medical spa, and how is it different from a day spa?

A medical spa is a clinic where cosmetic treatments are delivered in a clinical setting under medical oversight, which is what separates it from a day spa. Day spas provide relaxation services such as massage and basic facials. Medical spas administer injectables, prescription-strength products, and energy-based devices that break the skin or alter tissue, so treatment follows an assessment and is performed by licensed clinical staff. Cosmetiq Medicine operates as a medical spa at both its Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington clinics.

Where are laser and energy-based treatments performed?

All laser and energy-based treatments at Cosmetiq Medicine are performed at the Vancouver, Washington clinic on SE Mill Plain Boulevard. That includes laser hair removal, XERF skin tightening, Potenza RF microneedling, IPL, and erbium resurfacing. The Portland, Oregon clinic performs injectables, facial infusions, chemical peels, dermaplaning, and facials. Patients who consult in Portland for a laser treatment are scheduled at the Vancouver clinic to have it done.

How much does laser hair removal cost in the Portland and Vancouver area?

Laser hair removal is priced per treatment area and per session, so there is no single figure that covers everyone. Small areas such as the underarms, upper lip, or bikini line cost less per session than large areas such as the legs, back, or full chest. Hair grows in cycles, which is why every area needs a series of sessions spaced weeks apart rather than one appointment.

Laser hair removal produces permanent hair reduction rather than total removal, and most patients return for occasional maintenance after finishing a series. Per-area pricing is quoted at consultation and covered in the laser hair removal cost guide.

How much does Botox cost, and how is it priced?

Botox and Dysport at Cosmetiq Medicine are priced per unit rather than per treatment area. The number of units an area needs depends on the muscle involved and how strongly you use it, so two people treating the same area can require very different amounts. Your injector counts the units during assessment and states the full cost before treatment begins, and that figure is what you pay.

Current per-unit rates are published on the treatment pricing page, and Botox pricing and results in Portland explains what a given unit count typically covers.

What is the difference between Botox and Dysport?

Botox and Dysport are both neuromodulators that soften the muscle movement creating a line, and both are long established in cosmetic use. They differ in formulation, which affects how each one behaves in tissue and how the result reads once it settles. Neither is better in general terms, and the choice is made per treatment area at consultation rather than fixed once for the whole face. The Botox versus Dysport comparison covers the differences in detail.

Do I need a consultation first, and can I be treated the same day?

Every first visit at Cosmetiq Medicine begins with a consultation, and most patients are treated the same business day rather than being sent home to rebook. The consultation covers facial assessment, relevant medical history, and a full price quote before anything is injected. Nobody is required to commit to a package to be seen, and if the assessment points to a different treatment than the one booked, the appointment is changed rather than pushed through.

What happens if filler migrates or a result needs correcting?

Migrated or unevenly settled filler is assessed in person at Cosmetiq Medicine, including filler that was placed somewhere else. The first step is separating true migration from ordinary swelling, since swelling in the days after treatment resolves on its own and is not a result. If filler has genuinely moved past its intended border, dissolving is discussed as an option.

Corrections are reviewed at the two-week follow-up rather than in the first few days, because that is when the result is actually readable. Lip filler migration causes and signs covers what to look for.

Do you offer memberships, specials, or payment plans?

Cosmetiq Medicine offers memberships, rotating treatment specials, and third-party financing. A membership tends to suit patients treating more than one area on a regular schedule, since the per-visit cost drops against paying individually. Current specials change through the year, and payment plans are available through outside providers for larger treatment plans. All three are compared against single-visit pricing at consultation so you can see which is actually cheaper for your plan.

Which cities do you serve from each clinic?

Cosmetiq Medicine serves the Portland metro from its Portland, Oregon clinic and Southwest Washington from its Vancouver, Washington clinic. Portland-area patients travel in from Gresham, Beaverton, Tigard, Hillsboro, Happy Valley, Lake Oswego, Milwaukie, and Clackamas. Vancouver-area patients travel in from Camas, Washougal, Battle Ground, Ridgefield, and Salmon Creek. Patients move between the two clinics regularly, most often when a laser or energy-based treatment is part of the plan.

Do you offer GLP-1 weight loss support?

Cosmetiq Medicine offers GLP-1 weight loss support at both clinics, with an intake assessment, dosing oversight, and scheduled follow-up visits rather than a prescription handed over once. Patients losing weight quickly often ask about facial volume loss at the same time, which is addressed with collagen biostimulators or filler rather than by changing the weight loss plan. GLP-1 facial volume loss explains why it happens and what actually helps.

Still deciding? Book the consultation. You leave with an assessment and a price, and nothing is committed to before that.
