What are smoothing threads?

Smoothing threads are soluble surgical sutures inserted under the skin for treating multiple aging signs such as fine lines, wrinkles, and sagging skin. Threads show instant to gradual results through stimulating natural collagen and elastin synthesis. They smooth the lines and wrinkles, decreasing the size of pores, volumize flattened areas, tighten the skin, treat scars and rosacea.

Are threads painful or dangerous?

What does treatment look like?

Threads are made of polydioxanone (PDO), absorbable poly(p-dioxanone) (PPDO) polylactic acid (PLLA), and polycaprolactone (PCL), among other options which will depend on your treatment plan.
