What is Potenza?

Dubbed “the Kardashian microneedling frequency”, Potenza is a form of radiofrequency (RF) microneedling which has been approved by the FDA to treat both the face and body. Potenza contains the first hybrid tip which provides 3D fractional energy delivery. How does Potenza work?

Is RF-Microneedling better than Microneedling?

In our professional opinion, absolutely! The results produced for the focused radiofrequency energy generates outstanding results, especially when compared with standard microneedling techniques.

When will I see results?

Elastin and collagen building typically takes place 4-6 weeks after treatment. Optimal results are usually seen at 12 weeks after the last treatment.

How many treatments do I need?

Depends on the targeted problem. Optimally, the skin needs a series of three treatment spaced four weeks apart. Your first treatment will trigger the collagen production. The second treatment will boost the production, and third treatment will continue that production. Booster treatments help to continue the production and revitalization of collagen production and healthy skin

How long will the treatment take?

Plan for 1-2 hours in the office, we will apply a strong numbing cream for 30-45 minutes prior to treatment. Thereafter, the treatment will be comfortable. You will feel pricking sensation and some warmth. The time of the actual treatment depends on the size of area, body part, problem of concern, number of passes, and penetration depth. After the treatment, we will apply a growth factor/TNS which will penetrate deep into the skin for better enhancing results, followed by hydrating anti-aging mask for cooling and relaxation.

What is the recovery/down time?

Potenza RF-Microneedling is not like traditional lasers which require 5-14 days of downtime. Potenza has the fastest healing time of its kind. Some grid marks, mild swelling and redness is common and will subside within 24-72 hours depending on the depth of the treatment and the severity of the area treated. You can return to work within one to two days of treatment. For your safety, it is best practice to avoid sun exposure and wear sun block. You may use your daily routine skin care products after 5-7 days.
