The company behind Dysport, Sculptra and Restylane just showed where aesthetic demand is moving. In third-quarter results released October 22, 2026, Galderma reported that neuromodulator sales grew 24.1% at constant currency while its fillers and biostimulators business grew 4.8%, with Sculptra still posting double-digit growth. The company also raised its full-year sales guidance for the second quarter running. Here is what those numbers say about how patients in Portland and Vancouver are choosing treatments.
The short version
- Galderma’s nine-month net sales reached $4.765 billion, up 25.1% at constant currency, and full-year guidance rose to 22.5 to 23.5% growth.
- Third-quarter neuromodulator sales rose 24.1%; fillers and biostimulators rose 4.8%, with the company citing continued softness in the filler market.
- Sculptra grew at a double-digit rate in both the U.S. and international markets.
- Relfydess, Galderma’s ready-to-use liquid neuromodulator, is approved in 37 markets but not the U.S.; the company is targeting a first-quarter 2027 resubmission to the FDA.
What Galderma reported on October 22
Galderma, the Swiss dermatology company that makes Dysport, Sculptra and the Restylane filler family, said record nine-month net sales reached $4.765 billion. Its results release raised 2026 guidance to 22.5 to 23.5% growth at constant currency, up from 19 to 21%. Investing.com, via Yahoo Finance, reported that third-quarter growth of 26% beat analyst expectations.

Neuromodulators are pulling ahead of filler
The quarter’s clearest signal is the gap between the two halves of the injectables business. Neuromodulator sales rose from $346 million to $433 million in the quarter. Fillers and biostimulators moved from $285 million to $303 million. Over nine months the pattern holds, at 16.9% growth for neuromodulators against 8.5% for fillers and biostimulators.

Galderma said Dysport continued to grow in all of its top markets. It described the filler market as soft for another quarter, while noting continued double-digit growth for Sculptra in both the U.S. and international markets.

Why biostimulators are holding up
Galderma’s numbers line up with a Reuters report published October 21 on how skincare and aesthetics companies are responding to facial changes after rapid weight loss. Reuters cited Boston Consulting Group estimates that revenue from clinical treatments for skin laxity and volume loss tied to weight loss could grow from about $700 million to $2 billion over five years. Galderma told Reuters that Sculptra and Restylane are not approved specifically for patients on weight-loss medication, a distinction worth keeping in mind when you read marketing that suggests otherwise.
Galderma also reported interim data from an investigator-initiated trial in which Restylane Skinboosters and Sculptra improved hydration, skin barrier function and skin quality in menopausal women. Interim results are an early signal, not a final answer, and the company has not published the full study.
The angle most coverage missed
Part of the 24% jump is an accounting rebound, not new patients
Most coverage stopped at the headline growth number. Galderma’s own release says third-quarter neuromodulator growth was supported by the unwinding of U.S. timing effects from the prior quarter, and Investing.com noted the same reversal. In plain terms, some sales that slipped out of the second quarter landed in the third.
The nine-month figure of 16.9% is the steadier read on demand, and it still beats fillers and biostimulators at 8.5%. For patients, the takeaway is not that everyone suddenly wants more toxin. It is that treatment plans are leaning toward subtle maintenance with neuromodulators and gradual collagen building, with filler used more selectively.
One more detail for anyone reading about new products online: Relfydess, Galderma’s liquid neuromodulator, is approved in 37 markets but not in the United States. The FDA issued a Complete Response Letter in June 2026, and Galderma is targeting a resubmission in the first quarter of 2027, subject to further regulatory feedback.
